BY THE WINDOW

I'm sitting by the window,
looking at the stars, shining through the glass,
with water in my eye,
the loneliness throughout the sky.
Memories of your arms,
in my arms, on those lonely nights,
still make it hard to get through,
that i'm going far away from you.
But i leave, with a promise in my heart,
that i'll come again sweetheart,
i'll come for you my lovebird,
Oh, the time will cherish the moments then earned.
n i take out a picture of you,
with the trembling hands of mine,
driving my mind numb, the vision in haze,
all that matters, is a glimpse of your face.
Your face that keeps me alive,
the only thing that i need to survive,
n so i promise this again,
i'll return to you before i get insane,
that or i'll drown my soul,
into the shadows of time, on a dead train.
I'm sitting by the window,
looking at your face, hidden behind the clouds,
calling out your name, feeling dead low,
i'm sitting by the window...
