The Final Atonement.

Hello all,
remnant of my rise and my fall,
step inside, have a seat,
while i amuse you, i'm at my relief,
Come with your friends and kin,
i welcome you all with a grin,
shades of me, i'm in you all,
join me in this atonement for sin.

I'm the cry in a desperate hope,
kids shudder and so do old,
empty shells and silent echoes,
a nation set to a wrong course,
blood spilled out everywhere,
what've they done with the force.
life runs cheap as the Death tolls.

Fresh morning dew shines like pearls,
new mother picks up her son with a curse,
killers everywhere, rabid they run,
the nights sinking into the fiery sun.

Wake up!

You fight with your virtues and not your vice,
a soldier stumbles on the path and dies,
dust settles on ground and blends with ash,
bodies lying around like wasted trash,
it's a fools' world, all kingdoms are lame,
for thousands of years it has been the same,
and so it shall be,
for i'm inhuman, i'm to blame,
i'm a selfish cause inflicting pain.

Far away there's a shimmering light,
follow me with my never wavering sight,
we will carry the hope of the world,
leaving behind the darkness that swirls.

Is everybody in?
For i'm about to begin,
remember it's the atonement for my sin,
my body is frail now, and my head spins,
take me away lucifer, let the ceremony begin.
